Announcements for the Week of 05/12/25
Join Us for Sunday Worship, May 18 at 10:00 AM
Pastor Al will be preaching from 2 Corinthians 5:14-21
“Whole and Reconciled: Living into Our Newness for the Sake of the World”
Last Sunday, Pastor Paul preached on “Mary: Mother, Mentor, Disciple”
Paul shared Luci Shaw’s “Virgin”
As if until that moment
nothing real
had happened since Creation
As if outside the world were empty
so that she and he were all
there was — he mover, she moved upon
As if her submission were the most
dynamic of all works: as if
no one had ever said Yes like that
As if one day the sun had no place
in all the universe to pour its gold
but her small room
If you want to re-listen to Pastor Paul’s sermon (and any other previous sermons), you can do so on our church’s website.

An Invitation to Practice Speaking English with our Kaleo Members
Many of our Kaleo friends are in need of learning to speak English. If you have an interest in helping and building relationships with our Spanish speaking friends, please let Caroline know.
The requirements are few and flexibility is maximum.
An Invitation to Provide Transportation on Sunday Mornings To and From Church
Many of our Spanish speaking worshippers do not drive. Most of the time, Leni and Alejandro provide transportation. However, when they are in the Philippines, many Spanish speaking congregants do not come. We do not want to have this group of people lose their momentum in coming to church. If you have time on Sunday mornings and afternoons to provide rides, please let Samantha or Caroline know.
By agreeing to help, you are not committing to doing this permanently.
