Prayer of Confession from our May 4 Sunday Worship
Our Father,
In our ugly and injurious present political climate, it’s become all too easy to justify
fear-filled and hateful thoughts, words, and actions, often in defense against the “other”
side.
We project our anxiety elsewhere and misdiagnose the real problem (the real evil),
exchanging it for smaller and seemingly more manageable problems….
Last Sunday, Galen Hong led us in our prayer of confession, you can read the rest of the prayer here.
Gospel Gators Spring Concert, Saturday, May 10 at San Francisco State University

An Invitation to Practice Speaking English with our Kaleo Members
Many of our Kaleo friends are in need of learning to speak English. If you have an interest in helping and building relationships with our Spanish speaking friends, please let Caroline know.
The requirements are few and flexibility is maximum.
An Invitation to Provide Transportation on Sunday Mornings To and From Church
Many of our Spanish speaking worshippers do not drive. Most of the time, Leni and Alejandro provide transportation. However, when they are in the Philippines, many Spanish speaking congregants do not come. We do not want to have this group of people lose their momentum in coming to church. If you have time on Sunday mornings and afternoons to provide rides, please let Samantha or Caroline know.
By agreeing to help, you are not committing to doing this permanently.
