Daily Prayer at 12PM by the People of Grace Fellowship Community Church

Here’s our prayer for the week of August 22-28 from Mylene.

Last week, Russian forces heavily bombed Bilozerske, Ukraine, leaving many dead and injured. Apartment buildings were destroyed, hospitals and banks closed, and residents like 70-year-old Halyna Oleshuk lost access to medical care and safe water. Thousands fled, including the elderly and disabled, carrying only a few belongings. Many clutched precious items—like a guitar—as fragile symbols of hope and a longing for normalcy.

At noon every day this week, let us pray:

God of the broken city,
God of the powerless and the displaced,
we hold before you Bilozerske—its ruins, its weary, and its fleeing ones.
Break the power of violence.
Until your new day comes, keep them in your mercy,
and keep us restless for your peace.

Amen
