We are to be Easter people in a Good Friday world.
The Easter Story:
Destruction does not have the final say, Recreation does!
Chaos does not have the final say, Order does!
Injustice does not have the final say, Justice does!
Violence and War do not have the final say, Peace does!
Corrupt, Power-hungry, Greed dictators do not have the final say, the Crucified and Risen Lord does!!
Death does not have the final say, Life does!

Sunday, April 27, will be the last day to receive our Easter offering. If you wish to contribute to the work of Jubilee Immigration Advocates, please give online or drop a check in our offering box by Sunday, April 27.

Garrett Yee is Going on a Mission Trip to Tokyo, Japan
Our own Garrett Yee, will be going on a short-term mission trip (May 28 - June 18) with SOON Movement Global to Tokyo. Besides prayer support, he needs to raise $4800 in financial support by May 21. You can read about Garrett’s summer mission in his letter.

INFEMIT (International Fellowship for Mission as Transformation) Community From Around the World Shares Lenten Meditations (Jensa Woo is the Ministry Partner Liaison)
In this season, we have been reflecting together on what it looks like to bear faithful witness to the gospel in a world fraught with unjust wars, genocide, forced displacement, poverty, human trafficking, corrupt leadership, and state-sanctioned abuse. Throughout Lent, we invited you to join us by engaging in short weekly reflections offered by members of the INFEMIT community from around the world. Let us sit with our questions as we examine the Bible and our own contexts. Let us journey forward in solidarity as we seed actions of hope and resistance.
