Ava Juarez Baptism on Sunday,
April 28
We are thrilled that Pastor Al, as a Cumberland Presbyterian pastor,
will be baptizing Ava on Sunday, April 28.
A cake reception will follow during our refreshment time.
Pastor Al’s Installation
Service on Sunday, May 5
Not only is May 5th Orthodox Easter and Cinco de Mayo, but it is when
Pastor Al will be formally installed as our pastor of Grace Fellowship
Community Church.
We expect guests from out of town to join in the service. (See announcement below about hosting and
providing hospitality.)
We are going to celebrate Al’s installation by having a potluck refreshment time. We invite you to bring/make a dessert or
something savory to share with the congregation and guests.

Cumberland Presbyterian Church minister on May 5. There will be 4 guests from our sister
Cumberland Presbyterian Churches who will be participating in the installation
service. We would like to host the 4
guests in our homes.

JETS
(ECWA Theological Seminary, Jos) Easter Offering
Thanks be to God that we were able to
receive $7,316.06 from our Easter offering.
The funds will be forwarded to JETS to further God’s work in Nigeria.

INFEMIT's leadership team has been working diligently to prepare for the
Stott-Bediako Forum that will take place on July 15-17 in Rionegro (near
Medellin) in Colombia. We are invited to
join in prayer with them that the forum will provide a generative space to
connect and learn together and explore the kind of imagination that is needed
to shape our understanding and practice of mission amidst the issues of our
world today. For more information on the

We have received Langham Partnership’s 2024 spring Cultivate magazine. The entire magazine is dedicated to “When
Discipleship is Dangerous.” Attached is
just one of the articles. If you would
like to read the entire magazine, you can pick one up from the book cart.

Faith In
Action - No More Children Living in the Streets!
This is a follow-up of the town hall meeting that occurred last month
regarding the effort to ensure that children are safely off the streets. Please
consider joining with other faith leaders by showing up at this hearing.

Tiffany Avenue Garage Sale,
Saturday, May 18
Mario Nunez is having his annual Tiffany Avenue garage sale on May 18,
and is taking donations of clothing, toys, shoes, kitchenware, accessories,
CDs, DVDs, games, and small household goods that might be someone else's
treasures. He cannot accept furniture, as he does not have enough storage
space.
Mario would like to receive your donated goods by Sunday, May 12.

like to make arrangements to drop off your items.
Any items not sold at the garage sale will be donated to the Salvation
Army.
