Sunday of Easter
Pastor Al will
be preaching from Genesis 1:1 - 2:3. “Re-creating with
God: The Power of Imagination”
In preparation for our Spiritual Exercise
This Sunday’s theme is the power of our imagination to create. In this
light, please bring something or a
picture of something in your life that you’ve created or had a part to play
in creating it. Is it a sculptor, a painting, a poem, a book, a building, a
bridge, an original invention, etc.? Anything! Whatever it is, please bring it
or a picture of it. And be prepared to talk about its creation, from inception
to completion.

You are invited to stay for the cake reception

Pastor Al’s Installation
Service on Sunday, May 5
Pastor Al will be formally installed as our pastor of Grace Fellowship
Community Church during our worship service.
We are going to celebrate Al’s installation by having a potluck refreshment time. We invite you to bring/make a dessert or
something savory to share with the congregation and guests.
Good
Samaritan Fund
The Good Samaritan Fund was established
to help with the monetary needs of the people of our congregation and its
friends. Several gifts have recently
been made and we would like to replenish the fund.
If you are led to give to this fund, you
can do so by going to the online giving portal and choosing the Good Samaritan
Fund.
Thank You God for our
Wonderful Love Feast on Sunday
Thank you to those who made sauces, pastas and other dishes for our
delicious pasta bar last week. (I heard that Randy will give his Creole Shrimp
recipe upon request!)
A big thanks to those who stayed behind to clean up.
Thank You Letter from
Presbytery
We received this letter thanking Grace Fellowship Community Church for
hosting March’s Presbytery meeting.
On behalf of the GFCC staff, we want to add our thanks to those of you
who drove, hosted people in your homes, prepared, picked up, served or set up
food and coffee, set up the audio visual and those who stayed behind to clean
up.
Thank
You Letter from the Presbytery
