Daily Prayer at 12PM by the People of Grace Fellowship Community Church

This week’s daily prayer for June 12 to June 18 is from Sharon Jung-Verdi.

Lord, we are deeply grateful for the sacrifice of your Son,

for your justice and peace and for your spirit of reconciliation.

During the madness of ongoing wars help us remember the words of Isaiah 2:4:

“They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks;

nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.”

Amen.

NEME (Network for Evangelicals for the Middle East) Webinar on June 29 at 11:30AM

As war and instability persist in Israel and across the Middle East, many churches are struggling with how to address such controversial topics. In this webinar, we will explore how churches can discuss Israel, Palestine, theology, justice, and peace through a historical and biblical lens and identify practical tools to foster dialogue and action that reflect the reconciling way of Jesus.

Pastor Al is one of the featured speakers on the webinar!

Questions to Consider for the Deeper Dive

1. How were you made aware of God’s presence this past Sunday—perhaps through a song, the sermon, communion, a conversation with someone at coffee hour, etc.?

2. What in the sermon particularly inspired, encouraged, or challenged you?

3. Beyond Sundays, in what ways has your worship experience been impacting your relationship with God, neighbor (near and far), and/or yourself?

Contact Pastor Al or Randy Chang if you have any questions.
