Daily Prayer at 12PM by the People of Grace Fellowship Community Church
This week’s daily prayer for May 8 to May 14 is from Galen Hong.
Lord, you said it’s not good for humankind to be alone.
Our design requires loving relationships.
Yet, many live isolated and lonely amid an inhospitable world.
We pray for those vulnerable and struggling for connection.
Lead them to find their belovedness through the care and compassion of others.
Amen.

Questions to Consider for the Deeper Dive
1. How were you made aware of God’s presence this past Sunday—perhaps through a song, the sermon, communion, a conversation with someone at coffee hour, etc.?
2. What in the sermon particularly inspired, encouraged, or challenged you?
3. Beyond Sundays, in what ways has your worship experience been impacting your relationship with God, neighbor (near and far), and/or yourself?
Contact Pastor Al or Randy Chang if you have any questions.

Mission Trip to Federal Way, Washington to Visit Pastor Nelson and Annet
We plan to visit Pastor Nelson and Annet and their congregation at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church. One of our goals is to be an encouragement to them and at the same time learn from them. The trip will be from Thursday, August 20 to Monday, August 24. If you wish to join in this trip, please let Pastor Al or Caroline know. We will limit this trip to 15 people.
Update on and Praise for Diana’s Family in the Philippines
For the last 2 Christmas seasons, we have included Diana’s family as the recipient of our alternative gifts. The first year, we gave money to help build a house to protect them from the elements (especially during typhoon season in the Philippines). Last year, we gave toward the medical expenses of their mother, Angelique, who suffers from epileptic seizures. Because of these seizures, she is unable to join the family at church service.
Now with medication, Angelique no longer has seizures and has been going to church with her children! But do pray as the alternative gift money will not cover all the expenses for the year.

The aim of this Solidarity for Sanctuary Party and Fundraiser is to launch two funds: a Sanctuary Legal Defense Fund and an Emergency Fund Supporting Homeless Families.
The Sanctuary Legal Defense Fund addresses the critical problem that, overwhelming, the newcomer families and Leaders in Faith in Action face: how to pay for legal representation.
