I grew up in San Mateo, CA. It is a gift to have been raised in a Christian home where church was a part of our lives. I began a lifetime of learning that Jesus loves me and calls me to love others as myself through my parents, grandparents and mentors at the Foursquare Gospel Church and First Baptist Church of San Mateo, and Peninsula Covenant of Redwood City.
I moved to San Francisco to attend SFSU, and through my involvement with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship started attending Grace Fellowship Community Church in 1986. There I met my husband, Robert, and we raised 3 children, Emma, Adelyn, and Ian. Over the last 3 decades, I have had the joy and privilege of sharing life and partnering in ministry with the community of GFCC, testifying to God’s love, grace and justice in San Francisco.
As worship coordinator here at Grace Fellowship, I have the privilege of seeing how the Holy Spirit weaves her beautiful tapestry each Sunday through word, song, music, prayer, poetry and visual art, bringing glory to God and inspiring the church to reflect God’s love, reconciliation, and hope in San Francisco and around the world.
