This is Us Living Document

Pastor Al reminded us of who we are and why do we exist?

We are God’s beloved and broken people, formed for creative worship, unity-amidst-diversity, and holistic ministry.

Beheld, Beloved, Boundless

Take your time to read this document as it talks about who Grace Fellowship Community Church is… in other words, This is Us!

Reimagining Spiritual Formation

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, November 13 at 7 PM.  We will continue to  explore what spiritual formation is and how we can create a rich, brave space for its flourishing in us. This in-person biweekly series will combine teaching, dialogue and breakout spaces for engaging how God is at work and how we participate in God’s life. Important themes include formation as a journey, restoration, vulnerability, authenticity, listening and companionship.

Staying Spiritually Centered in the Political Storm, Wednesday, November 20, 7:00PM - 8:30PM

We now know the results of the elections.  We have witnessed a brutal time of division in our country.

On Wednesday, November 20th, Karen Seth will lead us in a time of prayer and contemplation as we give our attention to what it means to follow Jesus and for the church to bear witness to the hope during the aftermath of the election.

We will meet at the church on Wednesday, November 20th from 7:00PM - 8:30PM.

If you have any questions, contact Pastor Al or Karen Seth.

Church Anniversary Love Feast, Sunday, November 24

It will be a potluck so bring your favorite dish to share with the congregation.

Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow!

Greening of the Church, Saturday, November 30, 10AM

Let’s prepare our church building for Advent (which begins on Sunday, December 1).  Come join in the fun of putting up and decorating the tree, stringing up lights, hanging up garlands and more.  Let’s have our church make a statement about the joy in welcoming our Savior!

Pizza Lunch will be provided!

Advent Retreat at the Mercy Center, December 6-7, 2024

Join us for a retreat at The Mercy Center in Burlingame, titled "Curiosity, Doubt and Hope: An Advent Journey"

Church Clothes Closet

We are going to start a small clothes closet to provide clothes for our needy neighbors.  We are asking for donations of men’s and women’s “gently used” and cleaned clothing (sweaters, shirts, tops, pants, slacks).  With the weather turning cold, we would welcome jackets and coats.

Before bringing your donations, please touch base with Caroline or Jennifer.
