Announcements for the week of 3/27/23

Join Us for Sunday Worship at 10:00 AM

You are welcome to join us in person for worship! Please note that wearing face masks in the church building is voluntary.

Sixth Sunday in Lent

Pastor Al will be preaching. The (Discipleship) Road to Suffering: Does our Pain Count?

Second Look

If Al’s sermon brings up any questions or concerns, you will have an opportunity to meet with him in the courtyard after the service. Grab a cup of coffee/tea/water and some refreshment and meet at 11:45 in the courtyard. This should last about 30 minutes and childcare will be provided.

All are invited to come.

Book Cart Ministry Has Been Launched!

Each week on Sunday morning, a book cart featuring books from Pastor Al’s personal collection and from our church library will be available. Please come browse and borrow books to take home! The book cart selection will be replenished and refreshed each month. Don’t forget, the church library on the 1st floor has materials for browsing and borrowing, too. For more information or if you have questions, please contact Jensa Woo.

Eastertide Cards

Our resident artist, Mel Lou is inquiring about making an Eastertide Card for us this year. The Generation-to-Generation Prayer Team will sponsor this "event" by first taking a survey of anyone interested in getting a card(s) to send to someone (encouraging intergenerational exchanges.)

Please email Cindy Jew and put "reserve an Eastertide Card" in the subject line and let us know how many cards you would like. This will allow us to get an estimate of how many cards Melody will make. These cards are traditionally sent out from Easter to Ascension Sunday. More details to come but you can start thinking about who a special person might be to write to in celebration of the Resurrection!

You can sign up online or on the church bulletin board.
